Welcome to 24/7 FREELANCER UNIVERSE. Please feel free to register and browse our forums. Then make the right move and make FLU your Freelancer home server.

Player Rankings

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! FLUAddon version 1.6 is out.

The Freelancer Global Server is down, but all is not lost. You can still log in to FLU.

Here's how:

Close Freelancer.

Go to the game directory and navigate to the EXE folder. In there find the file fldirectip.hta and open it. This will open the direct connect panel.

Type in the following IP: 98.223.122.33
Leave the Port: 2302
Select add server.

Then hit Launch Freelancer.

When you come to the game menu select Multiplayer and then LAN, NOT Internet. 24/7 FREELANCER UNIVERSE will show in the list. Select it, log in, and enjoy.

That's all there is to it.

Alternatively you can use the Freelancer Server Direct Connect Tool available on the downloads page.

To use it make sure Freelancer is closed. Then run the FLSDCT tool and hit the button on the bottom to start Freelancer. When you select Multiplayer choose the LAN option and all available servers will be there for you to choose from. We hope of course that you choose FLU.

Hopefully Freelancer will be back on the global server soon.
